Condo board question
We live in a condo and below the window in one of our BR the wall is soft and i noticed a large water stain in early summer. They came and said that the corking on the outside of the window is all dried out so they would come and replace it (which they did). However, i knew it didnt seem to be in the right place in comparison to where the water stain was on the inside-it seemed like it was more the cement being cracked in the bricks on the outside to me. The mngmt company told me since it was on the outside they would fix it but we have to fix the inside. Well i guess i was right because the same problem has happened again due to all of this rain. We painted over the spot last time but i feel like it needs more since im worried the water is making that part of the wall moldy. I feel like we should not have to pay to have the wall repaired when the problem is due to the water outside. What do you think?
