concert-go-ers...
How long before the main band comes on?
Im going to see Bon Jovi on Sunday 
and Im curious how long to expect to wait before having a heart attack   
anyone know who the opening bands are ?

I've been to a Bon Jovi concert at MSG and the opening band played for about 45 min, and then there was a 15 min lull while they switched sets and the BJ played for 3 hours.

I'd say this is the norm for most concerts.

I'm going Sunday too. The opening band is Big and Rich (I have no idea who they are), and they are going on at 7:30. DH and I plan to get there around 8:00 (I live 15 minutes away, and 7 minutes by train). I don't remember how much time between the opening band and Bon Jovi there was last time I saw them.

Big and Rich is a Country band, but they mix in a bit of rock n roll to their music - they have a duet w/Bon Jovi on the new album Bon Jovi released!
