Have sex as close as possible to the ovulation day.
Girl sperm apparently lives longer while Boy sperm dies earlier.
It's really a 50-50% chance.

get the sperm as close to the cervix as possible (go from behind)
Boy sperm are not as good swimmers as girlie sperm so the closer they are to the egg when released, the better chance of getting there to fertilize

I am not sure what we did...but we're having a boy. It was ONE TIME we were not careful around O time (I thought my o time was a week earlier).

I agree, I think you just get what you get. I know people who have done the stuff to conceieve boy and all 3 have had girls.

I used WebMd's ovulation calendar for the try for a boy (worked) and then try for a girl with #2 (worked).
Honestly, I think it's a crapshoot. 50/50 odds.

I read this too in TCOYF-it claims that male sperm swim faster and are more likely to reach the egg before female sperm and thus having sex as close to ovulation as possible increases odds of a boy. I think it also said that this is why most pregnancies from AI result in boys. I don't remember the stats though.

there's stuff about acidity and foods that help...i don't remember off the top of my head, but i'm sure if you google it all of it will crop up. I think alot of folks who use preseed have girls, not all, but a lot. have sex, they say, from the rear and the day before or on you O day. I'm sure there's more....
