computer question??
This may be a dumb question but if I have a laptop and am wireless in my house, can I hook up my old printer that was connected to my desktop and if so can I do it without plugging directly into the laptop, as I carry the laptop all over the place. ..... I am not technologically savvy but figure there has to be a way to print with a laptop in your house????

Re: computer question??
Yes..
Hook up printer to old computer install it right click on computer and select sharing
On laptop after the above is done install network printer (it will be under the pc computer)
Done...
In order to print, the other computer must be on...
This is all assumeing the PC is connected to your router...

nope...in your post, i thought your old computer was still in use.
look at the link above..you can buy a wireless print router (or wired print router) It will cost some money but you can print wirelessly... (there is a link in the other thread)
What i mention at home is what i do at home...i can print wirelessly, scan, fax, copy (really doesn't help scanning copying as i need to put the paper in the machine.)
