Company paying to lodge employees on Sunday for Monday work
Won't be too useful if there are no trains to go to the City on Sunday night.

I would imagine they are putting them up in a hotel in the city near their job?

A lot of companies do this - but they book a hotel right near the office so they can walk to work.

Don't do it.
During the blizzard my moms company got her a room at the Intercontinental (very nice hotel)
She came home with bedbugs.

Dh's company is considering Saturday night as well to make sure everyone who needs to be there is there.
