Commitment letter issues
Hi! So we are in the process of selling our co-op, went into contract last week if January. Buyer had 30 days to get commitment letter, she ended up switching banks for a lower rate and asked for an extension- fine. There was a delay in the bank needing something from the co-op another extension was given. The extension is coming due on Friday and still no word on this commitment letter. I should add she is trying to get a sonymae loan and is qualified as far as financials go.
Anyone have experience with this? We're trying to figure out how long we should continue to do this until we back out, relist and go through the process again..
ETA they are apparently waiting for underwriter approval.
