One would think people would know better than to make comments like that or wow you're getting huge to a pregnant woman. I can only imagine what i am going to look like and what people will say to me since i am carrying twins!

I've been hearing comments this entire pregnancy. I never realized how bold people were (bold is putting is nicely  ) until lately.
We had twins to start and lost one along the way ... I have a friend who KNOWS this and when I sent her a belly picture around 12 weeks and already showing she texts back "WOW are you sure there aren't two in there?!!!" I was SHOCKED. I couldn't even bring myself to respond but in hindsight I wish I had and said - actually, there's are 2  and thanks for that reminder!

True. People have been telling me since 6 months that I looked like I was ready to pop. I can't exactly argue that point, except that now that I really AM getting ready to pop and so much bigger than I was then, I just wonder what people must be thinking

people don't realize what they say. They think commenting on your body is acceptable just because your pregnant but it's still your body they are talking about!
I can't stand Kim Kardashian and avoid any TV show or product with the name Kardashian attached to it just because I think the whole family is obnoxious, but I was getting really defensive when people were commenting about Kim's weight. It's demeaning not just to her but to other women who maybe feel they don't look their best pregnant and aren't feeling so comfortable and confident in their bodies! Every baby is different and every woman carries differently. I just think with the self-esteem issues most women have people need to be more careful about what they say about celebrities and those in the public eye because every woman compares herself to other women.

It doesn't bother me as much as I don't need a boss commenting that I'm waddling. I'm well aware I'm wadding :) My DH I wouldn't even think twice if he said it.

Only DH has said this to me so far.
Although I'm not archng my back, I def have the preggo waddle going on.
Before getting pregnant I never understood it. Now if I didn't waddle I'd only be taking 1 step every minute.
I've been told by everyone I see, "omg.. you're carrying so well. You look great for being this far along." Now I know for the next pregnancy, if they don't say this that means I look like crap lol.

I also get stuff like this from DH. I was on the floor with the dog last night because he injured his leg and can't get up on the couch. So DH came to switch off with me to hang out with the dog, and I gave him my hands to pull me up and he stumbled and was like 'you're too heavy for that now'.
