Coming Back after a long absence
Hello ladies,
It's been awhile since I've posted/visited/thought about TTCing but now I am coming back. I first started TTC back in 2007 when I was a patient at North Shore. I was diagnosed with PCOS and so I did a couple of cycles with Clomid and no success. I then went to Dr. B. and did one cycle of injectibles with no success. He then told me that my only hope was IVF. 
That was hard news for my husband and I to handle primarily because of the $$ issue. We took a break from TTC.
Now, 4 years later, we are ready to move forward again. This time however, I have changed doctors. I now see Dr. Zapantis who recently moved to his own practice. I LOVE him. Very calm, logical and respectful of my concerns and needs.
Tomorrow I go for an endometrial biopsy since my lining is double the thickness of what it should be. Then a round of Provera to shed and then injectibles again. Dr. Z. was very surprised that Dr. B only did 1 round of injectibles and then giving up. He assured me that he would try more than 1 dosage and that the timeline for this protocol is 3-6 months.
I am SOOOOOO nervous about my appointment tomorrow. I've never had a biopsy before and I don't know what to expect. Wish me luck!
