Re: coloring hair?
call them and tell them what you usually get done. They will tell you if you can still have. I havent had mine done, but i think some still do if they use certain things.

Re: coloring hair?
it's really personal preference. some doctors say it's okay, some don't... i personally wouldn't do it in the first trimester, but i would and have done it in the second and third tri.

Re: coloring hair?
My doctor said no for the whole pregnancy. I'm going to beg her on Thursday to see if maybe she'll relent but I doubt it. I'm going to be salt and pepper by the time I deliver.

Re: coloring hair?
my doctor pretty much left it up to me but warned they've never run any tests on it to see if it is harmful. He said the only thing that is safe is vegetable dyes?I really need my highlights done but have been holding out.

Re: coloring hair?
I will ask the doctor tomorrow, but will probably just stick with the highlights (she said that was ok last time).

Re: coloring hair?
I have dyed my hair in both my other pregnancys and I was told its safer in your 2nd trimester and later.. I am mid way done and still havent dyed mine yet waiting till the latest I can so I only have to do it once.

Re: coloring hair?
My doctor recommended I wait until my 2nd trimester, but highlighting is ok b/c it doesnt get absorbed into your scalp. It's a personal choice though.

Re: coloring hair?
I saw something in my local community paper about a salon that does "natural organic dyes". Anyone know anything about this and if it's safer?
