Re: color stripping from hair
I was interested in that a while ago and my stylist told me its really bad for your hair, it makes it very dry and frizzy.

Re: color stripping from hair
my stylist has called me a "freak of nature" bc i have had my hair stripped, and it actually made my hair soft and shiny! no idea how that works, but it has actually improved my hair!

I am unsure if this is something you are looking to do yourself, but for good measure, I will share this:
I will never forget my gorgeous brunette best friend, who color-stripped her hair at home ... ... and who ended up looking like a blonde Ronald McDonald.
Some things are best left to the pros.

Re: color stripping from hair
I actually color strip my hair (roots) every 8 weeks and then dye over it, to achieve the blonde color I like. I have done my whole head and it will destroy your ends. Don't do it unless you are ok with cutting a few inches off the ends.
