Cold Questions
So my little 4 1/2 month old munchkin has his first cold.  I was wondering...
1. How long does a cold usually last for a baby?
2. Aside from saline drops and standing in a steamy bathroom, is there anything else I can do for him?

Other things you can do:
-elevate his head in the crib (they make crib wedges, I put a folded towel under the head of his mattress to elevate it)
-run a cool mist humidifier
For my DS, it is usually about 5-7 days before he was totally back to normal most of the time

Baby colds seem to like to stick around. A few times we would take him to the doctor after a week and they would just say 'still the same cold, just let it run its course.' 
Hope he feels better soon!
