Coffee Maker recommendation

ugh coffee maker died this morning. we had it less than a year. its a cusinart. think i spent about $40/50 bucks. we are big coffee drinkers. but we are not looking for anything fancy. something simple. maybe with a feature that i can program it to brew in the morning. i really don't want to spend over $100.

any recommendations???

thanks!!!

Re: Coffee Maker recommendation

After my last coffee maker died I asked around to people I knew and the general consensus was those with Mr. Coffee makers seem to have theirs forever!! I bought one and so far so good, I really like it. I made sure I got one with a stainless steel pot.

Fiberware Perculator (sp?)...I bought a timer where you plug in the wall and every morning at a certain time it starts to brew...I prepare the coffee the night before...I also like how a perculator tastes compared to the drip ones, I feel like the filter takes a lot of the taste away...jmo!

i have the cuisinart grind and brew- i think its a little more than 100, but i LOVE the coffee it makes. and you dont have to use the "grind" feature; you can set it up the night before and program it to start grinding and brewing coffee for whatever time you want it. and it keeps the coffee hot in the carafe for 2 hours.

i love love love it
