Coffee aversions?
I have always loved coffee (regular or decaf). I have not been able to drink or even smell coffee since I got pregnant. Had NO desire. I am around 20 weeks now and am so happy because I am enjoying my first cup of coffee right now! I woke up thinking, ooh I want coffee! I think my aversion is gone It's so weird how these craving/aversions work. Anyone else just have their tastes change overnight?

Re: Coffee aversions?
Pre-preggo I loved coffee. Around 8 weeks or so I had 1 cup and got sick from it. I am 38 weeks and I still cant stand the smell of it. Poor DH has been drinking instant coffee because I gag when I smell it brewing even. But maybe in 2 weeks or so that will all change.

Re: Coffee aversions?
I used to drink a pot a day until I became pg. The whole first trimester I hated coffee, didn't want to smell it or look at it. I started to love it again around 18 weeks.

Re: Coffee aversions?
I used to drink coffee pre-preggo. I probably would have continued to even pregnant but it makes me projectile vomit. I really miss pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks!

Re: Coffee aversions?
I couldn't drink coffee during the 1st trimester either, and I thought it was odd since I LOVE coffee. Turned out it was a good thing because I would have needed to cut back anyway.
I think somewhere a few weeks into the 2nd trimester, I started liking it again, but since I was off caffeine anyway, I switched to decaf.

Re: Coffee aversions?
This was my biggest aversion too. I couldn't smell it or stomach it at all...not until the middle of the third tri.
