Clothes question
I ordered a whole bunch of clothes from Old Navy. I started wearing XS and am now completely grown out of them. I now fit into Small with a little room to grow. I ordered my new shirts in Medium and most of it is HUGE. I am debating whether to exchange the stuff for Smalls or keep it for when I am further along. Those who are further along than me, what do you think? (I am 17 weeks now so have a lot of growing left to do)

Re: Clothes question
I'd keep them. You will definitely need bigger clothes at some point. I popped alot more over the past few weeks (I am about 23 weeks).

Re: Clothes question
I'd say keep them and keep the tags on them. You can always return them if you don't ever grow to fit in them.
Are they maternity clothes? I have ordered a few things from Baby Style but haven't gotten them yet. Don't you order your pre-pregnancy size and they are sized to fit your belly? Thanks!

Yes, they are maternity clothes. My pre-pregnancy size was XS/S, and I already grew out of all the XS. Smalls fit now , but I though medium would give me a lttle more room to grow since I am only 17 weeks.

Re: Clothes question
I would keep them. I wore size small (Old Navy) until I was about 33 weeks then I needed the mediums.

hmmmm.... 33 weeks is far away! I think I will exchange most stuff for smalls but also keep a few larger pieces. Most of the stuff I ordered is strecthy too, so I think I can get use out of a small now AND as I grow.

If it's that much bigger and you want to wear it now - I would return some things.

Re: Clothes question
Keep the mediums. I bought a ton of XS and small clothing and now at 28 weeks NOTHING fits except the pants and now I have to go and buy all new shirts

Re: Clothes question
Pre-pregnancy I was a size 0-4 (depending on brand) and am just NOT now. All my shirts are medium. At 24 wks I have a little room, but not too much. I hope they'll last me the pregnancy but at this rate can't guarantee it. I would keep 'em!

Re: Clothes question
Keep them just in case along with the tags and if you don't wear them, return them! I'm wearing xs right now and I know that i'll eventually grow out of them. I just can't bring myself to get a larger size knowing I'm only 9 weeks and just have a really small pouchy belly.

Re: Clothes question
I would keep a few of the mediums but only the lighter-weight stuff. You won't need to go up in size again until probably about March / April.

I agree, you will get bigger, but you will also be in a different season. Normally, I am always cold, but while pregnant, I was usually too hot, so I wouldn't keep winter weight clothes for later in the pregnancy.

Re: Clothes question
I started out in a size small and now I'm in between a medium and a large, so I'd say keep them if you think you could still wear them in the spring (weather wise). I'm 34 weeks so I'm not about to go out and buy more maternity clothes at this point, but getting dressed for work is sometimes a challenge because my belly is HUGE and some shirts aren't long enough to cover.

Re: Clothes question
Have you changed a lot so far? Maybe that can help you gauge.
If there is just a little room to grow, I would return them.
My chest has seen the biggest growth. I had 2 spurts and so far have gone up 2 cups sizes (now I am 26w).
I got shirts in small for now and I am still wearing them, and then medium for later. Also think about the seasons when I buy and how far you'll be during them.

Re: Clothes question
I started in Small wore those probably until about 17 weeks, and mediums (wore those probably from 18-30 mixed with some larges) were huge on me, but I kept them and I am now in X-large (just the last 3 weeks really).
So if you like the stuff I would keep it. You still have awhile and I am sure will get use out of it. I wore some of my mediums even when they were too big just for some variety.
ETA: I am all belly, so I can still wear pants that are small and mediums. This is also why I need xL now because I need more length to cover my belly especially since I have "dropped"

Stick with the mediums. I went through a few wardrobe changes throught my pregnancy. I agree. And mostly in the last 2 - 3 months there was a pretty big size change.

Re: Clothes question
I would only hold on to the ones that you will be comfortable in when the weather starts getting warmer. Anything that's wintery I would return for small.

Re: Clothes question
Thanks everyone. I am going to exchange most of the stretchy stuff for smalls and keep the other 2 things in medium. I can always buy more if need be in the spring.
