How long does it take to close ? Or give an approval. Underwriter has all papers since last week. I'm nervous with all that is going on. Hopefully soon

Re: Closing question
IF the underwriter has all the paperwork, it shouldnt take more than a week or two to get an approval. After that there are different factors that depend on the date of the closing - you have to get insurance, and meet all the conditons the bank gives you with the approval, then you have to find a date where you, your attorney, your seller, their attorney, the bank's attorney, and the title closer can all get together!

Lauren basically summed it up.
On the day of closing, ours took about an hour to process all the paperwork and the house was ours.
