Closing Date ....
Our contract is on or about July 15 - which I know means 30 days before or after.
How far in advance were you all notified of your ACTUAL closing date?

We are closing tomorrow and we found out yesterday.
Typically though I think it's about 72 hours. Ours was different because the sellers are going to Europe for a month on Sunday.

We knew about a week before, but I don't think this is the norm. I was travelling for my job, and everything couldn't be ready before I left, so we did it the day after I returned.
I think 3 days is usually the most time you get.

Ours was less than a week, we had an idea it might be when it was but, we were waiting for some documentation to be signed by the neighbors (boundary issues).

We found out about a week ahead of time - we were going to Bermuda right before and really wanted to have everything set up before we left.
