I'm starting to think about redoing our bedroom closet in the coming months. Can you please recommend the company you used?

I don't want to call California Closets b/c I have heard they are a fortune. TIA!

Re: Closets

I got a quote from Dynamic Kitchens and Baths (figured they make cabinets - why not closets too) and I'm waiting on a quote from Huntington Closets.

Huntington Closets got a lot of great reviews on here.

I also am not even quoting California Closets....

Re: Closets

We just signed a contract with Alternative Closet in Deer Park for our bedroom closet. I can't wait for it to be installed. We priced out several companies and even though they weren't the cheapest (not the most expensive either), we liked their design the best and I know 2 people who have used them and I've seen the quality of their work first hand.

How does it work? They come to your house to measure then give you the design?
I'm so curious b/c I'm running out of room and I know our closet isn't being utilized te way it should.

That's exactly it. They come to your house, look at your closet, ask you some questions, measure and then they drew something up.

We had 4 different companies come. They don't leave you with the sketches of what they've worked out for you so you may want to take notes.

Re: Closets

I did a very small closet in a nursery through Huntington. I am happy with it, but it was pricy - $500 for a teeny closet.

Thank you so much.
I will call -
One more question: If you have a linen closet with exsiting shelves and doors that need updating, do they redo that as well? I may need a contractor for that.

I met with Huntington and Alternative. If we needed anything like that changed, a contractor would have to do it.

Yes, you need a contractor for that. When they come to install, your closet needs to be emptied, cleaned and painted. We have an existing closet system in there that the former owners did themselves which we are ripping out.
