closet organizer? hanger infomercial
I saw an infomercial on TV the other day and forget what the product is called. It was 5 hangers that were attached to each other and then they dropped down so they only took up the thickness of 1 or 2 items instead of the 5 hangers.... magic hanger? I don't know... it was like $10 + sh for enough for 30 pieces of clothing.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Do they work? Have you seen them cheaper in a store? TIA! :)

I know exactly what you are talking about!! They aren't available yet in the As Seen on TV stores... and you get a better deal through th TV ad than in the stores anyway (as per the sales person in the store). I cannot remember what they are called either, but I want them too!

Did you notice in the commercial that the "before" closet had like 100 garments. The "after" with the hanger gadget had about 20...

your best bet is go to home depot/lowes and prehaps invest a few bucks in closet maid. you may want to review whats in your closet if your at a point you have to much.
if closetmaid is out of budget, go with wireracks and you can take a closet with 1 row of hanging clothes and make it 2 rows. Drawback is, you lose the ablity to hang longer items like dresses without interfering with the lower bar clothes.

My sister ordered them and they were so flimsy that nothing she hung on it stayed.

I was going to say the same thing - i had something like that years ago and it was a big mess.
I want to get those slimline hangers.
