Clomid Side Effects
I tried searching for prior posts but can't seem to find any about this....
Has anyone experienced migraines when on clomid? Thek ind of migraine where you can't even open your eyes and look at anything because it feels as if your entire head is in a clamp and the pressure is just so unbearable!
I had the absolute worst migraine yesterday. I actually had to leave work early - and thank God that I did! By the time I got home, I could barely keep my head up. I spent the rest of the night in bed trying to let it all pass!
Has this happened to anyone else?

I didn't have that problem. But I have two friends who both are prone to migraines who experienced bad ones while on clomid.

I didn't have any headaches or migraines but the hot flashes I am getting are almost unbearable. I haven't slept in days.

Yes, I did... it was awful. I needed a dark room, I couldn't lift my head off the pillow and I was sick to my stomach. I'm prone to menstrual migraines but that attack (while on Clomid) was SEVERE! It lasted about 24hrs but I was weak for about 2 days afterwards.
Stay hydrated and calm...

only for my first cycle that was 50mg. the other cycles i felt perfectly fine even though i was on triple the dosage

Migraines are a side effect of Clomid. I have suffered from complex migraines since I was a kid and my neurologist told me that I most likely would have headaches on Clomid. She wrote me a precription for a pain med, just in case.
Luckily, I didn't end up having any migraines on Clomid, but have had some mild ones on Femara.
If they end up really bad, you can ask your doc. for a pain med that is safe to take when you are TTC'ing.

I didnt have any side aeffects with clomid...although many people do. The only side effect I had was very vivid dreams.
