clomid qustions
Hi everyone! I am hoping to start an IUI cycle the end of the month - I am waiting for my cyst to shrink. I want to make sure that clomid is the way to go. I got PG on my own twice but m/c both. In between both pregnancies I have had 4 IUI's and 2IVF's with another RE. Dr. B. found that I have high concentration of NK cells and will need intralipids before I ovulate and then monitored to see if I will need them again. Now DH and I thought about trying on our own, but then decided to go for IUI and BD (to increase our chances). Dr. B. Suggested maybe using clomid to make sure that I get a "good egg". Is there any other drug that I should be looking into since clomid can cause thin unterine lining and decrease CM? I will of coarse discuss this with Dr. B. I just want to have all my facts straight before I talk to him. Thanks so much for listening.

Re: clomid qustions
Clomid CAN cause a thin uterine lining and no/dry CM, but the thinning of the uterine lining is something that can happen when on Clomid for an extended period of time. One month isn't going to cause any damage to the lining of the uterus.
In regards to the CM, obviously it's not necessary if you are doing IUI, but if you are BDing, then you can use a sperm friendly lubrianct to help.

Re: clomid qustions
I am on my 4th cycle of clomid and I get my lining checked every cycle. So far the doctor has always said it was good.
I think if the clomid makes you ovulate that is your best chance for now.
Good luck!!

Re: clomid qustions
I was on Clomid once and took Femara, instead, this cycle. I haven't had any issues with my lining. I have been using Pre-Seed because of the decreased CM issue.
