Clomid for men

ladies, as some of you know, we are dealing with MF issues + I have PCOS. first SA test: count: 10 mil, motility 19 % and morphology normal. We were told IVF only.DH just had his second SA and we got a vm from Dr that it is bad again ( do not know #s yet). Plus varicocele confirmed via u/s and possibly prostatitis.

But his testosterone is normal. We are going to urologist on Fri, and I want to know everything on clomid for men.

What dose? how long? is it only prescribed for testosterone issues or it might help in our case?? Please help!

My DH was on it for 6 months prior to our IVF cycle...he was taking it because of his low T levels (in the 200s)....

We were told by our urologist that it brings T levels up (which it did from low 200s to 600s) and therefore might bring sperm count up as well. Men with normal T levels should not be taking it since it will not make a difference.

Another drug to consider is Arimidex which I believe is given to men with normal T levels....you may ask him about that..
