Clomid
Hi Ladies,
I went for my CD 3 bloodwork and sono yesterday and my RE started me on Clomid today for the next five days. He warned me about some not so great side effects. Just wondering if you can share some of your experiences? I'm hoping it's not that bad, but what choice do I have lol.

the good news is i really didn't have any side effects, tho i know lots of women do--hot flashes and such.
at most, i seemed to have a lot more CM and a longer luteal phase.

i dont think i had too many side effects, but clomid also didnt work for me at all.
as far as fertility meds go, clomid is like a gateway drug. theres really not much to worry about with it.

Tons of hot flashes for me also. I would wake up at night with them..I even had them even though Clomid didnt work for me at all

I am on cycle 2 with Clomid. I had zero side effects. I take it day 5-9. I did feel my ovaries and when I went for my sono it was because I had 3 perfect size follies.
I am on 2nd day of clomid on round 2 and still no hot flashes or headaches.
I though do not have any issues with ovulation and my cycles are crazy regular and that didnt change with Clomid.

I got headaches (bearable) and it dried up my CM. Overall, not a bad experience. Good luck!

I get extremely emotional and edgey. It might also be due to the stress of this whole thing.

I think I had every side effect. Including seeing trails and the constant rocking feeling. And to top it off it didn't work at all. But I know many women who had no side effects at all and it worked great. Good luck

Thanks ladies for the feedback. I started Clomid last night so we will see how it goes. I just started seeing a RE and this is my first cycle on Clomid, just wondering how well it worked for you if at all? I am pretty realistic that it's probably not going to get me PG on the first round. Two of my friends were on it and it did nothing.
