CLOMID 50MG vs 100
I only got one egg on 50 MG...Has anyone had this experience and then taken 100? Did you get more eggs? AF is coming, IM bummed. I only had one egg last time...maybe I need a few more to up my chances. How many does everyone usually get?

Well, I took 2.5mg of letrezole/femara and didn't respond AT ALL ...... then took 5mg of it and got 20 eggs  (though I'll find out today how many matured over 14mm)
So, really it all depends on your body.. everyone's is different and will respond to the medications in different ways!  Sorry, I know that's a lame, frustrating response! 
ETA: I *think* that 2.5mg of femara is equivalent to 50mg of clomid, and 5mg is like 100mg of Clomid............ Not positive though..

Absolutely! I'll be updating on either here or TTC later today  One of the benefits of Femara is that it does NOT dry up your CM and stays in your system for significantly less time than Clomid. One of the benefits over Clomid actually is it's supposed to have few side effects. On both the 2.5mg and 5mg I was fortunate to have NO side effects! (although some people do ... though it's still supposed to be less than on Clomid, from what I have heard!)

I took 50 mg my first cycle and had 3 eggs (not sure of the 3rd one matured, though), and when I took 100 mg I had 2 eggs. To be honest, I am not sure what upping the mg is supposed to do (been meaning to ask my doc!) bc it doesn't seem to have done anything different for me.

I started at 100 mg. Did that twice, got 2 eggs each time (maybe 3).
Then went up to 150. Got 2 eggs.
There is no way to "predict" how your body responds. My lining was never thin.

I started off at 50 and I think by my final cycle I was up to 200 (hard to remember ) I was 150 for many of my cycles.....
The most I mature follies I ever got was 2.....IUI is what ended up working for us to bypass the CM issue...
We had tried Robitussin etc.. and it didn't do anything

I started at 50mg and it had no effect at all. We up'd it to 100mg and I had 1 follie. I did not have a good experience with Clomid, so my RE put me on FSH injections this cycle. I am on CD 13 and no matured follies yet.. we just up'd my dosage yesterday and hopefully this will do the trick!

I know they can test for "hostileCM "(post-coital test I believe its called) But I'm not sure they can test for dryness....I could "physically" tell that I had a dryness issue I guess...

50 mg didn't work for me...mid cycle my RE did another Clomid round and bumped it up to 100mg. I just found out this morning I have one follie at 14 and another at 9.5...it's just a matter of what your body reponds to.
