Clomid - Day 2.. help!
Hi Ladies,
So I took my second dosage of Clomid last night and I feel like crap. I suffer from anxiety as it as and this Clomid has me going crazy. I have had a dull headache all day, hot flashes and light headedness. Last night, I woke up a couple times to my heart racing. Is this all normal? Will the side effects get worse Day 3-5? Im really thinking of coming off of it right now because I dont know how I can handle it for the rest of the week. Ive been waiting a while to start clomid because I have cysts every month after AF. I dont want to throw in the towel, but I feel like a walking panic attack. I cant concentrate at work and I feel like Im floating. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. On a side note: My family has been against me starting this medication because I am overweight. They think that me not ovulating is natures way of telling me that I need to lose weight before having a baby. They might be right, but my Dr. says that he sees many women who are larger then me conceive with no problems. Thanks again for listening, sorry its so long!

Re: Clomid - Day 2.. help!
headaches and hot flashes are normal...not sure about anything else.
I took mine right before bed and I slept through any side effects and the next day I would maybe have a mild dull headache.
The 2nd cycle I did was not as bad....I don't know if I got myself worked up about what the side effects were with the first cycle or my body was used to it for the 2nd cycle.

Re: Clomid - Day 2.. help!
I am not sure if the anxiety and Clomid are directly linked. I did try 2 cycles with Clomid and I have diagnosed anxiety. I did experience a slight increase in anxiety but I think it was because of the what ifs and not the actual meds. Plus it does not help that CLOMID's side effects are also anxiety symptoms.
I would call your dr. FM me
