Clomd question

If af comes I will have possibly one more iui with my Obgyn. For the past 3 months I've been on 100mg should I ask to bump up to 150mg? I've been googling and it seems there were higher success rates with more mgs

if you are responding fine to 100mg (ie producing one or more dominant follies consistently and not too late in your cycle) then i dont see what changing is going to do; other than make your lining worse

I have also heard that more is not necessarily better when it comes to Clomid. That being said, my gyn started me on 50 mg, then bumped me up to 100 mg on my 2nd cycle because my cycle was too long (38 days, and he would like it to be 30 days).

I agree...if its working for you then there is no reason to increase

There's no reason to change clomid dosage if you're responding to the lower dose. Clomid isn't like injectables, so raising the dosage doesn't necessarily mean more follies - which is what I'm assuming you're going for if you are talking about increasing the dosage.

I went from 50 to 100 and still only producing 1 dominant egg...I thought it would have helped more grow..but it didn't, just made the one grow really fast! I will find out in 5 days if iui worked..Good luck
