Clock in kids bedroom?
Is it silly to put a clock on the wall in Marron's big girl room? I saw one in a catalog that I love, solely for it's look and really want to get it but I don't know if it is dumb, since she is nowhere near able to tell time and it would really just be for decoration.

I don't see why not... if it looks nice go get it. Plus, if you're in her room then you'll know what time it is.

Not silly at all! My son has a wall clock and then a digital by his bed. He's had the digital since he's been about 2 after I taught him he needed to stay in his bed in the morning until the clock said seven zero zero.

I think a clock is a great idea.
We never had digital as children but we've always had a clock. AJ's is a flower power type look to match the retro-beatles theme
AJ may not know how to read the clock but I know soon she'll learn it *is* a clock and associate it with time, etc. Its all baby steps as far as I'm concerned. When she does learn to read a clock she'll have her very own in her room.

Not silly at all. We have an alarm clock in Sabrina's room and it is a kitty clock. It meows when the alarm goes off (got it from Land of Nod). She loves to hear it wake her up and it is nice for me when I am in there with her.
She also has an obsession with knowing what time it is on every clock she sees.

DS has had a clock in his room since day one, I used it to see how long I was nursing him at night when he was brand new

We had one in our son's bedroom, but we could hear the damn ticking over the monitor, so we took it out.
