Cleaning your BBQ Grill
I went to throw steaks on the BBQ tonight when DH was playing golf - and realized that there was lots of burnt crud on the grills.
How do you guys get that stuff off? I brought them in - brillo'd them - and it worked - but it wasn't super shiny clean like I had wanted.
Any tips because now this is going to be my new obsession until those things sparkle!

Buy one of the metal-like grill cleaning brushes and don't clean it right after you cook. Rather when you heat the grill up the next time, let it get really hot and then clean the grates with the cleaner. The crud should come right off.

Thanks! We have one of those brushes - I tried it but wasn't really loving it...it took off most of the stuff but there was still some stuck on it.
Maybe I'm just being a lunatic. Someone told me to put them in the dishwasher - I may try that tomorrow.

I used the Easy off Bam stuff on my grates and they came out really good.
Be careful about putting them in the dishwasher, a friend of mine did that and she had black things all over her dishes for a while.
