Cleaning Question

How do you clean your plastic shower curtain lining? Do you just throw it away frequently and replace it or is there a way to clean it and get the soap scum off easily? The one I have is fairly new.

Thanks!

I actually just read today that you can throw the plastic liner in the washing machine with an old towel then line dry it.

Re: Cleaning Question

i ususally just throw the plastic ones away when they get nasty... they are so cheap ( i get them at the dollar store) so to me its not worth stressin over- LOL
BUT, for my shwer a couple years ago, a friend gave me a "fabric " shower liner that you can throw into the washer and dryer... not sure where she got it, but its pretty cool!

Someone told me this as well, I've never done it though.

I used to spray it with Tilex mold remover and wipe it with a sponge. I had to replace it fairly frequently though in my old apartment because there wasn't great ventilation in the bathroom so it mildewed rather quickly.

Re: Cleaning Question

We replace ours once a month. We don't have a window in our crappy a$$ apartment bathroom and the ventilation sucks. No matter what we spray it with or wipe it down with, it always gets mildewy.

It's just easier to replace it, IMO.
