Cleaning make up brushes

Are you supposed to clean make up brushes after each use? What do you use to clean them? Do you use different brushes for each color or do you use the same brush for everything? TIA.

I use the same brush for my eyes over and over. Blush is a different brush. I do have a couple of brushes for my eyes but they aren't for the same thing. I clean mine once a month. I run it under hot water, put a little shampoo in the plam of my hand and swish the brush around in it until it coems clean, then rinse it under hot water. I do this with all my brushes, then i let them air dry. I do it in the mornings and they are usually dry when i get home from work

I only have a blush/powder brush. I clean it once a week with dish soap and let it air dry.

I use this stuff called "brush off", it comes in a spray bottle. i like it b/c you spray it on a tissue and swirl the brush on it. all the makeup comes off and you can use the brushes again right away.

I clean them probably about every week, every 2 weeks. sometimes I forget
