"Classical" Cesarean? Any BTDT?
So apparently I had a "classical" cesarean with DS (who knew there were even kinds??). Because of this I am at much higher risk for uterine rupture which means that needs to come out at 38w (with amnio to confirm lung maturation, of course).
I just found this out at my 34w appointment and was wondering if anyone else has had a repeat classical? My recovery with DS was a bit tough but I honestly thought I was just being a little wimpy From what I can gather now, it seems the difference is that the classical incision is higher and in the more muscular portion of the uterus / pelvis. Anyway, I was wondering if your recovery was worse / same / better 2nd time around. Logic is telling me it'll be the same or worse so I guess I'm just hoping for someone to tell me it was better
