Classes for 2.5 year old
DS will be just about 2.5 come September. We have decided against preschool until he is 3. So I am looking to sign him for classes- maybe 2-3 times a week. This summer he is doing swimming & gymnastics. We did music together last fall, a gymboree art class in the winter, and many library classes. Any suggestions? We were thinking of gymnastics, soccer tots, and either an art class or the farm class at Benner's farm. Are 3 activities to much? Any other suggestions? TIA!

We did the Queens Zoo toddler program in the Spring and my 2.5yo DS loved it so much! It was a really cute program.

Re: Classes for 2.5 year old
what area are nyou in?
DS1 didnt start preschool until he was nearly 4 (dec bday) so we did lots of different stuff prior to that.
We did Mommy & me through our town rec program, Tot Music (music together) lots of library classes, mommy & me gymnastics, sports class at Sportime, and swim lessons.
I find for myself 3 is too much, I like to limit it to 2 extras because otherwise I feel like all I am doing is running around. but I have 2 kids so DS1 is going into first grade and he has 2-3 activities and DS2 has 2 activities so its something everyday plus school stuff and I wind up more worn down than the kids.
At 2.5 I also was in a playgroup through meet up so we did lots of relaxing playdates at friends homes or parks or play places to add into our days.

Classes for 2.5 year old
We are in Commack, so the zoo is a bit far for us. I think that is a GREAT idea though! DS loves animals, which is why I was thinking of doing a class at the farm. Maybe I will do soccer tots and the farm for the fall. Thanks!

We did the mommy & me program at the YMCA too. I loved it. I was able to see my son interact and learn with the other kids. It was a lot of fun and we looked forward to going.
