Cingular phone help
So we have Cingular and are not very happy with service but we have 3 months left on our contract and it costs $175 each phone to cancel early.
Dh's phone works maybe 10% of the time and Cingular is saying that its the phone (very well may be as it gets thrown often).
I need to find a used Cingular phone with a Sim card that we can switch DHs service to. All of our old phones dont have a sim card and we dont want to buy a new cingular phone since we are planning to switch carriers in March.
Does anyone have a cingular phone with a sim card they are willing to part with?

not sure if this would help, but Verizon has a code you can punch into your cell phone that automatically upgrades the phone's software. maybe Cingular has something similar?

no they do not have that... you have to call and they do it for you

I am having the same problem with my cingular phone, I have the LG C2000, I have a year left on my contract
Anyhoo, I called them ranting the other day b/c last time I called them told me I have turn my phone on and off everynight so it can sync with the network.....
So it still happens that my phone usually doesn't ring, they are now saying it's the phone and they sent me a replacement at no charge, same exact phone, just received it can't wait to see if it works
I spoke with the warranty dept. Good luck!

DH has cingular and doesn't have problems. he has the motorol razr.

Why dont you use the warranty exchange program throughg cingular? Danielle used it once to replace her Razr and I used it once.
