Hi. I live in Queens and have lived here for 7 years. I am trying to find a church with a good and active children's ministry now that we have kids. We started going to a church in the Manhassett area, but the kids ministry is not that great. I feel like parents are not welcome to stay in the class if needed (even with toddlers which is my concern) and there is no effort to get to know the families that attend. I've tried to fit in and go with the flow and be supportive of the ministry they have in place, but something made me feel very uncomfortable today. I do not know Long Island well or even the queens area, so I just thought I'd ask if anyone knows a church where children and parents are welcome.
