I had 1 for 4 years. The only problem I had was the Oxygen Sensor. It was a 40 part my brother in law replaced for me. He said they only last about 40000-50000 miles and mine needed to be changed at 46000

i believe ive had my oxygen sensor replaced also.. thanks for your response! im hoping someone tells me that chrysler will make this up to me somehow..

It might be too late to declare the car a lemon. You have to show that the SAME problem was not corrected after multiple attempts at repair, and all repairs have to take place within 2 years after you bought the car and within the first 18,000 miles.
I can't recall the exact rules, but it's something like that.

yeah i was just reading the lemon law and saw that.. argggg.. i dont know what to do then, i guess i will just complain to them and tell them i will never buy a chrysler again and then just sell the damn thing and be done with it.  thanks for the replies

As a whole, PTs are extremely reliable. Definitely one of the higher rated vehicles. However, as with any car, (yes, even Hondas...  ), there are problems. I've had mine for 5 years, and no problems. I know of people who are pushing 200k miles (yes, it's only been around for 7 years, but they drive a LOT), and nothing significant to report.

anyone have one? i think mine is a lemon.. i bought it brand new in december 2001, its a 2002... and i have had to do way too many repairs the past few years.. anyone have or know anyone having this problem with a Chrysler?? i am soo mad.. i just e-mailed chrysler and they better friggin do something about this, it has gone on too long... has anyone ever complained about a car and had them do anything for them?? what else should i do? how do i report a lemon? any help would be greatly appreciated!! right now i hateeee chrysler and am willing to do whatever it takes to make them help me. thanks 
You sound like my Dh, He has a 2002 Pt cruiser and had 'Alot' of repairs on the car also, He wants to get a new one,'BUT' we are going to wait 1 more year... If you get any answer's from chrysler Please let me know so I can tell Dh what to do and maybe,we can get some kind of a deal from them, all i know is that Chrysler Sucks with a capitial S
