Chrysler Pacifica
Does anyone have one (with 3 rows)? What are your reviews? I'm looking to buy one certified preowned.

Re: Chrysler Pacifica
I do not have any personal experience but my co-worker had one and HATED it
she wound up giving it to her 18 year old son and he totaled it, she was not upset, she was glad to be rid of it

Re: Chrysler Pacifica
I don't have one, however, I have been encouraging everyone looking for a 3rd row to check out the Mazda CX9.
I had an excellent experience with Wantagh Mazda back in early July. They also have really good lease deals as well.
ETA: If you are looking to buy a used one, you can probably get a nice one there as well.

I LOVE the CX-9 but too expensive! Even a used one was out of my price range

Any idea why? Because of finances I can't be too picky. I don't want a minivan but need the extra 3rd row.

Re: Chrysler Pacifica
My sister has a pacifica and the only thing she does not like is that when you add the third row the trunk space becomes pretty small. She has a hard time fitting all their luggage and stuff in there when they are going on vacation. Other than that I believe she likes it.

Re: Chrysler Pacifica
we have one and love it. GREAT for 1 or 2 children - we keep the 3rd row collapsed most of the time for storage space.
we (like you) wanted 3 rows, but couldn't easily afford the traverse, acadia, cx-9. we were able to purchase the pacifica cash- it was HALF of what the others i mentioned were. We bought CPO with 23k miles on it.
it rides so nicely - comparable to the town & country - and it's so comfortable as a passenger. Even with the convertible rear facing right behind the passenger seat, I can still keep my seat far back.
We got the bucket seats in the 2nd row too. We just figured that it'd be beneficial to have DS separated from his not-yet-existent future sibling. I remember driving to Florida as a kid and getting angry that my sister kept touching me ...
eta: the gas mileage is better than what the sticker said. we were pleasantly surprised.

Re: Chrysler Pacifica
Thanks everyone, there are very few CPO out there. I found one that is too good to be true, low mileage and low price (compared to others out there). We went out 2 weeks ago to see it and it wasn't in the lot. There was some miscommunication between me and the guy at the dealership and DH doesn't trust them, because when we got there they wanted to show us older models (he sort of walked out ****** and the dealer made a comment so DH refuses to go back but said I can and he'll wait outside . If a car is CPO, can we trust the dealer (ANY dealer?). He doesn't want to go back but I feel like the deal is too good to pass. I haven't test driven it or even seen it.

Re: Chrysler Pacifica
My Sister had one. She loved it. It was a good car and she racked up the mileage to about 85K with no problems before she got rid of it.
It is a nice car because it's super roomy and very luxurious.

Re: Chrysler Pacifica
We have the Pacifica and love it. We have to 2 kids. We mostly keep the 3rd row collapsed as well because the storage is small when it is up. But with most cars when the 3rd row is up the storage is limited. My neighbors just bought a brand new Tahoe and when the 3rd row is up it is a small space too. We haven't had any problems at all with the Pacifica and we use to tow our camper as well. Very good car and well made. If you have any questions feel free to FM me.

Re: Chrysler Pacifica
We looked at one and test drove it before deciding on the Saturn Outlook. I'd get an Outlook or Acadia or Pilot before a Pacifica. All have much better 3rd row legroom and storage behind the 3rd row.
