Chronic ear infections and Chiropractic Care
Has anyone brought their DC to a chiropractor as an alternative to having tubes put in to stop chronic ear infections?
We are supposed to bring DS to an ENT next week, who I'm sure is going to recommend tubes. I've been doing a little reading about going to a chiropractor to treat them and the results seem to be very good.

The chiropractor that I went to to turn my breech baby saw TONS of kids for this reason (also ADHD, asthma, allergies, etc). I'm not sure of his success rate, but he had tons of repeat clients so I'm sure it was pretty good.

I have been looking into this as well. A friend of mine swears that taking her son to a chripractor really helped. I can find out the name and FM it to you.

My sister's chiropractor treated several families. They had some success but I think ultimately they did end up with tubes. For them, it was worth it because they weren't ready for the surgery.
Also acidiphilus was helpful.

I've heard anecdotal evidence of chiropractic for chronic ear infections. There's also a strong correlation with dairy and soy allergies.

We did it with food changes, but a good friend of mine has seen a chiro for chronic ear infections with great success. She was told that her son needed tubes, and went to her chiro, started him on treatments, and he has been ear-infection free ever since.
