Chromosome abnormalities

So i just came back from my MC follow up, and he advised me that the test came back as Chromosome abnormalities.

He stated that its a common reason and 80% of MC are caused by it
He was not overly concerned and his facial expression showed excitement to start our next cycle as soon as AF comes

Anyone else deal w this?

ME! I was told the same thing.. that MC mostly occur from chromosome abnormalities and overall MC's are very common. :(
I had to wait 2 cycles to start again, but it turned out to be my lucky cycle... currently 19W. Good luck!!

Re: Chromosome abnormalities

So common.. We suspect at least one of my losses were chromosomal.

When I did Ivf we did pgd which tests the embryos for chromosomal abnormalities. They said that in a normal healthy 21 yr old egg donor half come back abnormal. I was sure I'd beat those odds even in my late 20s. Nope! exactly half came back normal. It goes to show how common it really is.
