christmas eve potluck question
christmas eve will be at my mother's and it's a bit of a potluck, this year.
my mother will be making the main dish, a roasted pork shoulder. i think she'll also be making rice and beans.
i have no idea what to bring. something that i can make the night before, because i'm working on christmas eve (half day). the ride is a little over an hour, so it also has to travel well.
ideas?

Re: christmas eve potluck question
Tossed green salad? Caesar salad? I often make broccoli slaw with dried cranberries and walnuts or almonds tossed with a balsamic vinagerette and it's a huge hit. It also lasts for a few days afterwards without going all soggy, so you can have it for left-overs.
