So sweet! After almost three years of dating, film producer Matthew Rutler popped the question to Christina Aguilera on Valentine’s Day — and she said yes!
Ain’t no other man can stand up next to Matthew Rutler! Which is exactly why Christina Aguilera said “I do” to her boyfriend’s romantic Valentine’s Day proposal on Feb. 14. Congrats to the happy couple!
Christina, 33, met Matt, 25, on the set of her 2010 film Burlesque while she was in the middle of a painful divorce from ex-husband, Jordan Bratman – and the rest is history!
Christina took to Instagram to announce her engagement to Matt, sharing a picture of the two lovebirds’ hands joined amid a beautiful beach scene. The best part? Christina is showing off her huge and stunning engagement ring in the pic! We totally love it.
Christina captioned the pic, ”He asked and I said……” We think we can fill in the blank! We’re not surprised Chrisina said yes — it sounds like the Voice judge was smitten from day 1.
“He’s the love of my life, and I adore him,” Christina told Ellen DeGeneres during a November, 2010 interview. “He’s such a character, and he’s so happy and at the end of the day, that’s what’s most important.”
Christina Aguilera Wants To Have Baby Number Two Soon
Now that Christina and Matt have the whole love and marriage thing figured out, do you think a baby will come next? Christina, who already has a child, Max Bratman, 5, from her relationship with ex Jordan Bratman, is eager to give her son a sibling.
“Christina’s wanted another kid for two years and tried unsuccessfully with Matt around eighteen months ago,” a source told OK magazine in its Feb. 17 issue.
But Christina is not giving up, and she has a deadline for when she would like to have a second child, the insider added.
“She’s made it clear that her next child must be born before she turns 35. She’s adamant that she’s not giving birth when she’s nearing 40.”
I think a preg announcement is around the corner

WOW...didn't realize she was that much older than him. And I've been seeing magazine covers that she is pregnant.
Nothing nice to say about the ring, so I will leave it at that But congrats to them

How is he such a wealthy film producer at 25? Is he a celeb kid???
25 to me is SO young for a guy, and I always doubt these things will last. But Mazel tov all the same....

25 to me is SO young for a guy, and I always doubt these things will last. But Mazel tov all the same....
When I googled him, all I see is "Production Assistant". Not sure where Film Producer came from

Congratulations for her. But her son is 6, not 5.
I distinctly remember his birthday because I cried that I was still pregnant and she and she wasn't. That last week of pregnancy is rough.

I agree with you. Celebrities lead such crazy lives, nothing like normal every day married people, that there is so little chance of their marriage lasting.
There are a VERY rare few who have made it last but it's certainly not the norm.
