Chocolate World Expo yesterday
Did anyone go?
We waited 1.5 hours on line just to get IN. People coming out said they liked it, so we chose to wait. I was kinda disappointed with the show to be honest. It seemed more like an indoor street fair that you had to pay admission for. I thought it would be more innovative new products, ideas and bigger named Chocolatiers. It was honestly 25% chocolate related, and the rest was pickles, soaps, wine, etc.
The only booths we really were interested in were the Fretzels and the chocolate covered Bacon Bites

I went, and my Mom and I felt the same way that you did. I felt like a lot of the booths didn't even have samples, and if they did, they were literally the size of a chocolate chip. It turned me off to buying anything because I didn't really know what anything tasted like. I found a couple of the things that I tasted to be surprisingly bad as well.

Re: Chocolate World Expo yesterday
We were supposed to go yesterday but unfortunately life got in the way and we never made it there. I was totally disappointed about not going, but this post is making me feel better!

Re: Chocolate World Expo yesterday
We went too - waited about 50 minutes to get in. I have been to the NYC Chocolate Fair and therefore just about anything less than that disappoints me. But I felt as if the samples were lacking at this one. The places that gave the best samples were actually the places I wound up buying things from. We were there for only about 45 minutes once we got in, because we covered all of the booths so quickly.

I have seen it in some of my bigger industry magazines, so it was interesting to see them there. Ray bought it

I was going to go but decided against it when I found out it was $15 to get in. Glad I didn't go from the reviews.
