as edith would say...those were the daaayyyysssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
are you looking at the one on 5th or the one on Atlantic?
I will be honest and say I wasn't that thrilled with the chip shop the last time I had it (a few months ago) and it's just getting more and more pricey.
once upon a time, it was a great fish and chips joint.
I mean, it's not awful or anything so if you want to try it, by all means do.
but if you want any other restaurant suggestions, I can offer those as well.
there are at least two Slopers on this board.

are you set on Fish?
there are a few good restaurants there
a good spanish restaurant (La Mancha) Pete's Waterfront Alehouse has interesting game meat dishes Jolie is a nice french place (and would a more romantic end to your epics)
I've never been to the chip shop on atlantic so I am not sure how much seating they offer. the one on fifth is small.
if you do go there, enjoy..and DEFINITELY get a deep fried dessert!!!!!!
have fun!
are you taking the pics outdoors or in a studio?
are you from Brooklyn?

thanks for the suggestions! actually my eye kind of settled on the fried pizza, which sounds both gross and wonderful at the same time
we're not from bk, but our photographer is, and chose the sight for us, because i actually won them for free..we're taking them outdoors, and she said there was a mural at the corner i listed, along with a cute bar and coffee shop in the area. we shall see
