China storage
I was wondering if any of you who store your china at home use any sort of china protectors. If so, is there that much of a difference between vinyl, leather and canvas? My mother keeps hers in vinyl and in over 40+ years, her gold plated china is still in good condition. Any info would help as I need to get rid of this wall of Lenox boxes in my dining room ASAP!

Hmmm.... I didn't know that the container mattered. I have a few that are vinyl, and a few that are canvas.

My grandma gave me some vinyl ones from Lillian Vernon and they work great. She has had the same vinyl ones for 40+ years and they work great.
etd. b/c i cannot spell vinyl.

I don't think there's a difference either but would get the vinyl ones since they can be easily wiped down opposed to canvas which may need to be actually laundered.
