Chimney Flue Cleaner - recomendations needed
Anyone use someone that didn't want to rebuild their entire chimney. We haven't cleaned our chimney for the past two years b/c of an awful experience with someone telling us that the whole chimney needed replacement. I just want someone to clean our flue and if he sees an issue jot it down and leave. Any recommendations? I'm in Suffolk.

Re: Chimney Flue Cleaner - recomendations needed
We use Chief Chimney. They've always done a good job for us. First time we were here we used one of those $49 services and were told we needed a chimney cap (which we did) and re-lining (questionable) which is one of the common things those cheap services try to sell you on. Chief does a serious cleaning and they are neat and professional. It will run you around $200 give or take but it's done the right way. I found them after doing some research and finding that a real cleaning takes time and will cost more than $49. I highly recommend them. Chief Chimney
