Children's place return policy without a receipt
I was just there & they would not take my return back since I didn't have a receipt. They wouldn't even give me store credit. Is this typical? Now I have to search for this receipt.

Yes, it is typical. I had a huge fight there once about it. So ridiculous, I never shop there now.

They are the worst on returns. I had a gift receipt for something once and because it was over 60 days or something like that, they only gave me the lowest possible selling price for store credit, like $4 for pants.

Yup they are horrible. They told me corporate made the stores do this because too many clothes were being stolen then returned for store credit.

It's so stupid but I'm sure it's probably true. You can't believe how many people do this. They sell the credits online. I have had to deal with this is my store also...

You can only exchange for the same exact item but a different size.
My husbands relatives love to buy my son clothing from there two sizes too big and out of season. It sucks!!!

STINKS!! That's why I stopped shopping there. I had tags and everything on a gift and no receipt so I brought it home and wound up giving it to charity.
