Many of them don’t take insurance or don’t return phone calls, at least that was my experience.

North Shore/LIJ Developmental Pediatrics. Takes a very long time to get an apt but they are thorough and accept insurance

I am not sure if you are looking for a child psychologist or a developmental pediatrician. We see a developmental pediatrician at Cohen's. It does take a while to get an appointment.

I am in Westchester, but I searched very hard and didn't find anyone that took insurance that I wanted to work with. Most don't take insurance. We pay out of pocket unfortunately.

This is what I hear from most peds and families.
Peds may tell you people to call but the best seem to be out of network.

I haven’t gone yet but In Westchester Boston child group has developmental pediatricians. Also WIHD if you have Medicaid or Aetna ?

Thanks! We take our daughter to someone who specializes in her condition, but she may also need a neuropsychologist, so this is good to know!
