Review: Chicco Cortina Together Stroller

Hope its helpful for those looking for double stroller

When it comes to pushing two kids around, moms need something that’s easy and inexpensive.

The Chicco Cortina Together stroller ($300) is just that. It’s a simple stroller to use and, in comparison to all the other double strollers out there, it’s priced very affordably.

Which is perfect when you’ve got a baby (or two!) on the way and lots of gear to buy.

Things We Like:

One of the things we love best about this stroller is that it has so many possible combinations.

It’s great for twins, a toddler and a baby, a toddler and a baby in an infant car seat, and more. Whatever combo you choose, this stroller will suit you.

We also love that it accommodates the Key Fit car seats with a special fold and click car seat attachment, which means there’s no need for any added bars or straps.

The stroller itself is very sleek and stylish (we tested the Cubes pattern and loved it).

It has an aluminum frame with two individually adjustable canopies. The rear seat can also recline completely, making it a safe bassinet-style option for a tiny baby if you’re not using a car seat with the stroller. And the large storage area underneath is even accessible through a zipper when the rear seat is reclined. Such a clever feature!

We like the positioning of the seats – with so many side-by-side and tandem (one child on top of the other) strollers on the market, it’s nice for parents to have a third, classic, option. This front seat/back seat style allows for a nice, narrow stroller, so it’s easy to fit in doorways and to maneuver on crowded sidewalks.

Things We Didn’t Like:

The canopies for this stroller are very, very small. In this day of excellent sun protection from stroller canopies, we were rather surprised by the minor coverage offered by the Cortina canopies. In fact, it’s almost certain that you’d want to purchase an add-on canopy of some sort if you intend to have your children covered from the sun.

The fold is a little tricky. Despite being one of the lighter strollers of this style on the market, it’s still quite heavy, and folding can be a little awkward. But it’s a one-hand activated fold, which can come in handy when you’re trying to wrangle two kids. And once it’s folded, it’s nice and flat and can stand on its own, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for a double stroller that fits in smaller spaces.

Moms & Babies Rating:

This is a great value stroller for city-dwellers with two children. It’s a smooth ride with multiple seating arrangements and lots of storage space. It won’t be as great on snowy terrain as some other strollers, but it’s sturdy and strong and will take you and your two children anywhere you need to go in style.
