Chicco Cortina or Citi Mini...cant decide!!!!

I know there is a price difference...but not huge. Im being so indecisive and DH is no help. Should I get the Chicco stroller and car seat or the citi mini with infant car seat and adaptor/ or even snap n go? Im a mess! My shower is in 3 weeks fyi

I love my Chicco Cortina and I got the snap n go too. Highly recommend it! Don't know much about the Citi Mini.

I don't know about the Citi Mini, but I had the Chicco Cortina for DD along with the matching car seat. I loved it when I was using to snap the seat into, but once we started really using the stroller I found that it really wasn't holding up well. I ended up convincing DH to let me get a Bugaboo and I never looked back. I left the Chicco with my mom since she uses it so infrequently. That's just my experience though, I know a lot of people love their Chicco's (that's why I got one!)

As of right now I plan to get the Snap n Go and Citi Mini- but let me go see the Chicco Cortina and I can let you know what I think . I am not loving the look of the citi mini.

Thank you girls! I am so torn. I actually registered for the Citi Micro to use as an umbrella, but I think that was a dumb move and will most likely take it off my registry. Any more opinions will be greatly appreciated!

So far most people have told me not to go with a travel system because they are bulky and heavy, but those recs were based on what they know about my lifestyle. And I know a lot of people love their travel systems.

We are getting the City Mini with the adaptor because we needed something lightweight, easy to handle and fold, and that takes up relatively little space. We live in the suburbs and plan to use the stroller a lot, will be folding and unfolding and loading in and out of the car, so this was our best bet.

Also, we were going to do the City Mini AND an umbrella stroller, but everyone told us that with the City Mini we wouldn't need anything else. If you're going with a travel system you probably would want to get a lightweight umbrella stroller too.

Travel systems are so heavy, i have one. If I would have known, I would've gotten the city mini from the start. Only thing I'm happy about is, I now need a double, and wouldve been upset I spent money on a single.

I have both. They're very different. I keep my Chicco in my garage (so I can use it for walks around the neighborhood) and my City Mini in my trunk (for errands, shopping, etc).

The Chicco is a tank. Love the carseat and it's rated well for safety. Like most travel systems, it's very heavy and takes up a ton of room (half of the trunk of my SUV). It takes two hands to set up, no matter what the website claims. It's very sturdy on long walks and seems very comfortable. The seat has several different positions, from a total recline to an almost 90 degree angle and is easily adjustable. DD slept in it all the time. The storage for you (big basket, cup holder, extra spot for keys and phone) was very helpful.

The City Mini weighs about half of what the Chicco does. It folds, can be set up, and can be steered with one hand. The sun canopy is terrific. The baby can't sit completely upright, which some babies find annoying, and the straps are kind of a PITA to adjust. The parent console, belly bar, and snack tray are all sold separately. The storage basket underneath is kind of small, so I wind up carrying my diaper bag.

All in all, they're both great strollers that have different uses. Register for both!!

I have the Chicco travel system and LOVE it! I have found the cortina to be a breeze to fold and it's not heavy at all in perspective to other strollers. I love the saftey of the car seat and my daughter LOVES her stroller! I am considering the Cortina double stroller, but for doubles they have slimmer, lighter models. I say for the $289 for the chicco key fit 30 and cortina stroller travel system it was a deal!
