chicago!
Hi ladies
DH and I are going to Chicago for a few days in May. I was hoping you could recommend things to see and places for good Chicago style pizza and hot dogs.
We are only spending 2 full days in the city since we are going for a family.party and staying 40 minutes outside the city.
We already have tickets for Sears tower (I know it changed names but forgot it)
Thanks!!

Re: chicago!
I loved Chicago!! We went to see a comedy show at second city. It's where a lot of famous comedians got their start. It's in an area where there were lots of restaurants and the show was awesome!

Re: chicago!
we went there for a couple of days last june. we stayed near the magnificent mile and walked up and down, went to navy pier, up the john hancock tower, ate at both giordano's and gino's east (had long line to get inside and pizza takes nearly an hour!), stopped for popcorn at garrett's

Re: chicago!
Chicago is one of my favorite cities.
For Food check out Gino's East for Deep Dish Pizza and Garretts Popcorn is the best. There is the original Molly's Cupcakes in Lincoln Park and grab a bite to eat in Greek Town
If you can get to a game at Wrigley Field do it. The tickets are way cheaper that NYC area baseball games and the statium is old fashioned and cool to see.
Take a walk down Navy Pier and take a boat trip up the river (some go out on the lake too).
Go tho the top of the Hancock Building and have a drink at the Signiture Room.
Check out the Lincoln Park Zoo it is free.
Lincoln Park and Wicker Park are great areas to walk around. Wicker Park has some great shopping.
