Re: Check out these bottle holders...
I personally think that if you use that every single time, yes it's being lazy. I mean really, it's not a lot of work to sit and hold a baby and feed him/her. With that said, I will use a receiving blanket to prop DD's bottle when I am trying to get DS ready to get out the door, etc. , but I don't make it a habit.

Re: Check out these bottle holders...
I think those things would have scared DDs if they had to sit there the entire time and stare at them.
At a certain point I think they would have rathered play with it and teethe on it than actually drink their bottles. That would be No for me.

I agree with Summer. Plus a lot of bonding time with an infant is when you are feeding them.

I think it's good for when you are out and it's not as easy to or there is nowhere to sit and feed DC. However, like Summer said I wouldn't use it every feeding.

ITA w/ FireIslandLove. Those animals would have scared the daylights out of my babies I did use bottle props for a period of time b/c I was feeding 2 babies at once. It was a nice break not to have both arms occupied

I do think there are instances where those props may come in handy... I tried one like the dog one, and found it really wasnt that great, and I had to help him anyway... but I do enjoy feeding Cailen...

Not a fan of bottle propping, but when necessary, I'd say you can easily do it without some special device.
