Cheapest Place to get Shrubs and/or flowers???
Where do you all shop for your shrubs or flowers that you plant in the spring? Someone told me Hicks is expensive and I went to Home Depot and they seemed to have some good stuff. Shrubs went for around $19-$25 bucks and flowers were $4-5 bucks.
Just wondering if any of you have any good tips!

We went to Garden Dept. in Coram They were very helpful. They walked around with us and helped us to pick out flowers and shrubs for our garden. You can even bring pictures of the garden area and they will work with you that way. I thought the prices were pretty good and when we went there, they actually had a sale going on. They have a great selection too!

If you are a costco member or know someone that is they have great shrubs right now and they are so cheap. Ones that sell in home depot for $40 are there for $20 and they have smaller ones for between $10 and $20.

The end of last summer, I visited Garden Depot and was impressed with their selection. I wrote down their prices, thinking they weren't that great. But when I compared them to other places in my area, they were cheaper by at least $1.00 per container.
I plan on going there again this year. I didn't know Costco sold plants - I have to get a membership and do a comparison!

Scott - does Cheap Sams haev flowers too? or just shrubs?
I think we should set up a LIF swap.
In the past few days, there was a poster who wanted to rip out bushes, and a different poster stating they want to put some in!! and, if memory serves me correct, they were the same species too!!
